Email support@notonemore.app. A person reads it, and you will get a reply within two working days.

If you are writing about something going wrong, include your device model and iOS version. It usually saves a round trip.

Using the app

The reps are not being counted

Rep counting reads the phone's motion sensor, so it needs the phone moving with you: in your hand, or in a pocket on the side you are working. Counting is deliberately generous rather than strict. If it still will not count, tap to skip verification — the Hit finishes normally and still counts as a craving beaten. Skipped Hits are simply left out of the statistics that compare which action works best for you, so the comparison stays honest.

I cannot do squats where I am

Take the hold instead. It is an isometric squeeze that nobody standing next to you will notice, and it is offered on the Burn screen every time, so there is nothing to set up. The app assumes most cravings happen somewhere you cannot exercise openly.

There is deliberately no setting for this. Whether squats are possible depends on where you happen to be standing at that moment, which a preference chosen weeks ago in a settings tab cannot know.

I slipped and smoked

Log it. One tap, no lecture, and the app will not send you anything afterwards. Your headline number is cravings beaten, which never resets, so a slip does not wipe out your progress. Unlogged slips are worse than logged ones — they quietly bend every number in the app toward looking better than things are.

I want fewer notifications, or none

There is only one to begin with: a reminder the day before a free trial ends, so a charge is never a surprise. Turn it off in iOS Settings under Notifications. There are no streak reminders, no daily check-ins, and nothing at all after a slip.

The app never notifies you about cravings. A nudge before your usual difficult hours was built and then removed — telling someone "this is usually about now" puts nicotine in the head of a person who was not thinking about it.

The voice note will not play

The recording is stored on your device only, so it does not survive deleting and reinstalling the app, moving to a new phone, or restoring from a backup that excludes app data. There is no copy on our side to restore, which is the same decision that means we cannot listen to it. Record a new one from Profile.

Account and history

Restoring your history on a new phone

Use Sign in with Apple, on the old phone first if you still have it. Without it your account is anonymous and tied to that install, so there is nothing to sign back in to. Once signed in, install the app on the new phone, sign in with the same Apple ID, and your profile and craving history restore automatically. The voice note does not, because it was never uploaded.

Deleting your account and data

Open Profile and tap Delete Account. It happens immediately and you do not need to email anyone: your craving events and profile are removed from our database, your account itself is deleted, and the local copy on your phone is wiped. It cannot be undone, so export or screenshot anything you want to keep first.

Deleting the app without doing that removes everything stored on your phone, including the voice note, but leaves the backup on our side intact so a reinstall can restore it. If you have already deleted the app and want the backup gone too, email privacy@notonemore.app.

Subscriptions and billing

What the trial covers, and what happens after

The three day trial covers the whole app: unlimited Hits, all three beats, every action, discreet mode, verified reps, outcome logging, and the analysis built on top of it. Nothing is held back and no card is charged until it ends.

After the trial, Not One More is a subscription. Without one, the app still opens into 30 seconds of guided breathing before it shows you a price, so it is not a locked door when you need it. That breathing screen does not log the craving, count reps or feed your statistics — it is a way through the next half minute, not a free version.

Cancelling or getting a refund

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so we cannot cancel or refund one for you. Cancel in Settings on your iPhone: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Not One More. Cancelling before the trial ends means you are not charged. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

I paid and the app still shows a paywall

Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall, and check you are signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with. If it persists, email us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.

Health and safety

Not One More is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It does not replace nicotine and is not a substitute for nicotine replacement therapy or for advice from a doctor, pharmacist or stop-smoking service. If you use patches, gum or lozenges, keep using them — combining behavioural support with NRT is the best-evidenced route, and this app is designed to sit alongside it rather than instead of it.

Stop exercising and speak to a doctor if you have chest pain, feel faint, or have a heart or joint condition that makes short bursts of exertion unsafe. That includes the hold — an isometric squeeze raises blood pressure while you hold it, so it is not the safer option if blood pressure is your concern. You can skip the exercise beat on any Hit and it still completes; the breathing beat that opens every Hit asks nothing of you physically.

If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency service. Free stop-smoking help is available from national quitlines in most countries, including the NHS Better Health service in the UK and 1-800-QUIT-NOW in the US.
